About People & Profiles
This category is for pages where the subject is a person, not a product. A founder's story, a freelancer's body of work, a home page under someone's own name, a single page of links. Type a name or a trade into the search bar, scan the plain results, and open the one you want. Each entry points to the real page, so you judge it at the source.
Results show newest first, and you can re-sort by community votes. Votes cannot be bought, so that order reflects what visitors actually liked. Filters narrow things down inside the four subcategories below. If a page is mostly selling a product or a service, it probably fits a product category better. When you submit, you choose one main category and it costs nothing.

People & Profiles: questions answered
- What belongs in People & Profiles?
- Pages built around an individual: a founder's profile, a personal site, a collection of past work, or a page of links. If the page mainly presents a product or a company's services, pick a category that matches that instead.
- How do I choose between the subcategories?
- Go by the page's main job. Telling a founder's story suits founder profiles. A general home page under your name suits personal websites. Showing finished work suits portfolios. A short page of outbound links suits link pages.
- How do I get a page listed here?
- Go to /submit and enter your site's address. The form drafts a profile from it, and you review and change every field before anything is published. A paid launch costs $5; free listings wait in a queue.
- Can I list under more than one subcategory?
- You get one main category free. If your page genuinely spans two roles, the upgrade at $5 gives you 3 further categories. Choose the main one by what visitors will most expect to find.
- How are the results ordered?
- Newest listings appear first by default. Visitors can switch to sort by community votes instead. Votes cannot be bought, so a high position under that sort comes only from visitors who chose to back the page.
