About KOR-FX
KOR-FX is a haptic gaming vest developed by Immerz, Inc. that uses patented acousto-haptic technology to deliver tactile feedback synchronized with game audio. The device allows players to feel environmental sounds and incoming threats, providing competitive advantages by enabling detection of enemy vehicle approaches and sniper fire directions.
The vest is highly customizable, allowing users to adjust the depth of environmental feedback, differentiation between audio channels, and intensity levels. It works with PCs, gaming consoles including Xbox One and PS4, and devices with 3.5mm audio output or optical connections.
The technology is protected by multiple patents including US patent 8,139,803. The vest supports a 30-40 hour battery life with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and includes a built-in 3.5mm audio output for simultaneous headphone use.
