About AICodingRound
AICodingRound is a practice platform for coding interviews in the AI era. You work on realistic problems in multi-file codebases: fix production bugs, build features, or review AI-written code. Each problem runs in a cloud workspace with an editor, terminal, tests, and live preview. You can bring your own AI tools like Claude Code or Codex, or work without AI.
Your work is graded on multiple dimensions: correctness and safety, verification that nothing broke, performance, and your judgment and oversight of AI. After submission, hidden tests run in a fresh environment and you receive a detailed report showing what passed, what you might have broken, and follow-up questions about your approach.
Problems are built from real production bugs and incidents. Each problem is verified: a known-good fix passes the hidden tests, and the starting code fails them. The platform currently covers Python, TypeScript, SQL and databases, with Java, Go, C#, and React being added.

What is a round?
One timed practice session where you get a ticket in a real multi-file codebase, work in a cloud workspace with editor, terminal, tests and live preview, then submit. You can fix a bug, build a small feature, review AI-written code or write tests.
How is my work graded?
Submit runs hidden tests in a fresh environment with separate groups for your fix, anything you might have broken, and performance. The report scores four dimensions: correctness and safety, verification, understanding (via follow-up questions answered without AI), and AI judgment and oversight.
Is the AI allowed?
Yes. Each round states what AI may do. During beta you bring your own AI like Claude Code or Codex run in the workspace terminal, or work with no AI. Your grading reflects how you used it, including whether you checked its work, not whether you used it.
Where do the problems come from?
Problems are realistic multi-file codebases built from the kinds of bugs that break production software. Every problem is verified: a known-good fix passes the hidden tests and the unsolved starting point fails them.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the private beta. A paid Pro plan is planned but not on sale, and the company will notify users before anything changes.
