How does the billboard ranking work?
The billboard is a paid leaderboard ranked by owner contributions, separate from votes and other rankings.
Updated
The billboard is a leaderboard at /leaderboards/billboard that orders listings by total money contributed. It is labelled as a paid ranking.
Contribute an amount
You set the contribution in US dollars. The minimum is $5. Contributions accumulate: each payment adds to your listing's existing total, and the board re-orders by the new sum. Once you contribute, your listing stays on the board.
Add your listing to the billboard
Adding it from your account needs a live listing. Log in, visit /account/listings, find your listing and click "Upgrades and extras". Enter your contribution amount under Billboard. You can also add a contribution during the submission process.
The billboard is independent
This ranking never affects community votes, Launch of the Week, or any other leaderboard. Contributions, votes, verification and Domain Rating each operate separately and are labelled accordingly. Promo codes do not apply to billboard contributions.
A link that stays
Contributing gives your company a followed link (no nofollow) to its website from /leaderboards/billboard, with your company name as the anchor. We keep it for life, wherever you rank. It comes off only if the listing is taken down for breaking our rules or the contribution is refunded.
