How to follow listings and founders

Follow any listing or founder to receive their updates by email and in your account; following is free and you can stop anytime.

Updated

Start following

Each listing page and founder profile displays a Follow button. Press it to receive updates. If you're signed out, you'll be taken to sign in or create an account (both free), then returned to confirm.

What you'll see

Followers receive notice of:

  • New milestones and product launches from the company
  • Status updates (acquired, closed, relaunched)
  • Founder stories
  • New or replaced demo videos
  • Multi-site launches (max one notice per day)
  • Launch of the Week awards (#1, #2, #3)

Founder followers receive their new founder stories only.

Each notice lands in your account and inbox. Emails arrive as a daily summary by default.

Adjust frequency or stop emails

Visit /account/notifications to choose: instantly, daily summary, weekly summary, or off. You can also add Telegram or Slack there. Turning emails off keeps you following; you'll still see updates in your account.

Stop following

Open the listing or founder page and press Following. You unfollow instantly; no more updates are sent. To keep following but silence emails, change settings at /account/notifications instead.

How it works for listing owners

Owners learn someone followed, never who. Follower counts may display on the listing.

Following and vote rankings

Following doesn't affect votes, vote rankings, or Product of the Week placement. Followers do count on /launches/most-followed, which ranks the most followed launches here.

Questions people ask

Is there a cost to follow someone?
No. Following is free. You only need a free account on the site.
How often do I get emails about someone I'm following?
By default, one daily summary email. Change this to instant, weekly, or off at /account/notifications.
Will the listing owner know I followed them?
They'll be told someone followed, but not who. They are not told who you are.
